BREI CARTER

Brei Carter is not waiting for a lane to open — she is boldly creating one of her own. A commanding country-soul singer-songwriter with an unmistakable voice and magnetic presence, Brei brings together the heartfelt storytelling of country, the emotional depth of soul, and the unapologetic fire of Southern rock.

Born and raised in Monroe, Louisiana, Brei’s foundation was built on faith, family, service, and the rich musical traditions of the South — the soul-stirring harmonies of the Lone Star Missionary Baptist Church choir and the timeless sounds of Charley Pride, Loretta Lynn, and Aretha Franklin.

Long before commanding stages, Brei built a remarkable life defined by scholarship, leadership, and service: a Bachelor’s in Business from the University of Louisiana at Monroe, a Master’s in International Relations from Webster University, a Doctorate in Theology — and service to her country as both an enlisted soldier and an officer in the United States Army.

Since making Nashville her home, Brei has emerged as a dynamic performer, compelling songwriter, and CMA Ambassador — and brings her warmth and intelligence to television as a correspondent for Nashville Insider. Her single “Prove Me Right” has been submitted for Grammy consideration.

“To meet her is to understand her purpose. To hear her is to remember her.”
